Our Admissions Process
Most students begin at Yeshivat Yavneh in our Early Childhood Division.
We welcome applications for all grades from our Early Childhood Division through 8th grade. We are excited to speak to you and appreciate your interest in our school and community, however acceptance is subject to availability approval by the admissions committee.

Step 1: Inquiry Form
In order to access our application you must fill out an inquiry form first. Once you fill out an inquiry form you will be reached out to by our Admissions Team for further information regarding our Open Houses and instructions for our Online Application. If you have any questions or problems please contact our Admissions Office, admissions@yha.org.
Tours and admissions meetings cannot be scheduled without a completed an inquiry form. There is no application fee, so do not hesitate to fill it out!
Step 2: The Open House; What to Expect
Our Open House is meant for you to see our classrooms and teachers in action, as well as have the opportunity to meet with our Administration, and listen to a panel about our school and community. You do not need to bring your children to the Open House we will have an opportunity to meet with them after you officially apply.
Step 3: Apply Online
Our Admissions Team will reach out to you with a link to submit an application. Please submit your application early to secure an interview appointment. The application due date is December 17, 2021 for current Yeshivat Yavneh families and January 14, 2022 for New Family applications.
Step 4: Schedule an Interview
After you have submitted your application, you will receive an email inviting you to select a date and time for your family interview. These 30 min to 45 min interviews include the applicant as well as parent(s)/guardian(s).
Step 5: Evaluation and Testing
In the email scheduling our family interview, we will also reach out with instructions how to schedule an evaluation and testing for each student.
Applying to Early Childhood
Play Dates: Early Childhood applicants also participate in an hour long playdates. They will be socializing with other students, listening and responding to a story and a song, and participating in choice play time. Mini-days take place on specific days from October through January. Included in the email about interview scheduling, you will also receive instructions on how to schedule a playdate.
Applying to Grades 1-8
Testing takes place on the Yeshivat Yavneh campus. Included in the email about interview scheduling, you will also receive instructions on how to schedule elementary testing.
Step 6: Transcript/Report Card (Grades 1-8)
Please send a signed Transcript Release Form to the school or schools from which you will be requesting an “official” transcript. Alternatively, you can attach your transcript to your application.
