Dear Parents,

In commemoration of 9/11, Rabbi Dear put together a most powerful assembly for Grades 6-8. Through the use of multimedia, Rabbi Dear gave a history and backdrop to the day and also focused on the theme of accepting difference. Certainly as we are just steps away from Rosh Hashana, this lesson in Bein Adam L’chaveiro (between man and fellow man) is critical. It is important as educators, parents, and influencers that we keep our child connected to what is happening in the global community. We don’t live in a vacuum.
